Homescapes follows Austin the butler as he returns to his childhood family estate to prevent his parents from selling the property. To restore the mansion room by room, you clear match-3 puzzle boards to earn stars, which are spent on replacing broken furniture, repairing damaged walls, and unlocking new areas of the house.

MATCH-3 BOARD MECHANICS AND POWER-UP COMBINATIONS

Matching four or more tiles on the board creates special explosive boosters that help clear tricky obstacles like jelly, chains, cookies, and carpets. A line of four pieces forms a Rocket that clears a full row or column, five in an L or T shape creates a Bomb, four in a square creates a Paper Plane that targets goal items, and five in a row creates a Rainbow Ball.

The fastest way to clear hard levels is by combining two adjacent boosters. Swapping a Rainbow Ball with a Paper Plane sends out multiple flying planes that home in on level objectives, while pairing two Bombs clears nearly half the entire game board in a single move. Conserving your moves pays off because any remaining turns turn into bonus coins when the level completes.

MANSION RENOVATION AND ROOM CUSTOMIZATION

Every renovation task in the estate costs between one and three stars. As you work through the entrance hall, kitchen, garden, and bedrooms, the game lets you choose between three different design options for every major item—including wallpapers, carpets, armchairs, and light fixtures. You can also change any installed piece of furniture later by tapping and holding the item.

MANAGING EXTRA MOVES AND DIFFICULT LEVELS

Hard and Super Hard levels appear every few stages, distinguished by red and purple frames. On these levels, the board often starts heavily blocked by carpets or chains, meaning you should spend your first three turns opening up space at the bottom of the board so new pieces fall down to create automatic matches.
